Hello lovelies! If you’re shopping for someone with curly hair, it can be tricky to find the right gift. After all, curly girls tend to be very picky about their favourite products and brands. In this gift guide for curly girls, I’ve rounded up some products that I think almost any curly girl would like! And, if your family members ask what YOU want for Christmas, you could always pick one of these ideas, too!
Read on for my 2020 Holiday Gift Guide for Curly Girls.
1. Silk Pillowcase
If you’re a curly girl, you know that fighting frizz is a constant battle. That’s why so many curly girls have switched to a silk or satin pillowcase. Besides preventing facial wrinkles, silk pillowcases also help your curls stay smooth and beautiful. This silk pillowcase is made of high-quality mulberry silk and comes in 21 colours.

2. Curly Girl Tee
I love this adorable curly girl tee designed by Liane on Etsy. It comes in either black or white and totally reminds me of the verse, “But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her…” (1 Corinthians 11:15) I also like this one, too.

3. Microfibre Hair Towel
If you’re following the Curly Girl Method, drying your hair with a regular towel is a big no-no. Instead, you can dry your hair with a soft t-shirt or a microfibre towel, like this one. This towel is a such a clever design- it wraps around your head and snaps at the back. That way, it won’t fall out while it dries! Curly girls who use microfibre towels say that it cuts down their drying time considerably.

4. Behairful Brush
I haven’t owned a brush for three years. 𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐋 𝐍𝐎𝗪.
Brushes would always break up my curl pattern and cause a ton of frizz.
So, when I started the #CurlyGirlMethod, I stopped brushing my hair.
But, when @behairfulbrush wanted me to try one of their brushes, I couldn’t resist! And I absolutely LOVE it. I don’t use it on dry hair. Instead, I apply a liberal amount of conditioner and use it to detangle my hair in the shower.
It works like a charm! It’s designed with regular-length nylon bristles and then a shorter layer of boar hair bristles.
And it distributes the product SO evenly throughout my hair. It created wet seaweed clumps that I couldn’t get with just finger detangling.
Detangling my hair with my fingers usually takes a few (painful) minutes. But this brush cut it down to 45 seconds, tops, and made it so easy and painless!
I also noticed that my curls are more defined and bouncy than usual- which I love!

5. The Curly Co. Collapsible Hair Diffuser
One of the best curly girl tricks I know is DIFFUSING your hair. It just produces such nice, tight, well defined curls. If your blowdryer comes with a diffuser attachment, lucky you! If not, take a look at this collapsible hair diffuser. It is designed with a silicone end that will fit most blowdryers. It’s also easy to pack because it collapses into a small cylinder.
