Hello there!

My name is Claudine, and I learned to love my curly hair after years of struggling with it.

As a teenager, I had a love/hate relationship with my long, frizzy hair. I loved curls, but I just wasn’t willing to curl my hair every 2nd day. Most of the time, my hair was pulled back in a tight ponytail or braids. (Curly girl life, anyone?)

But everything changed one day in March 2016. Out of curiosity and sheer boredom, I picked up a few books on curly hair in a library.

Pages in, I was shocked! No wonder my hair never behaved when I treated it like straight hair.

To my complete surprise, I realized that I had curly hair.

Although I was a bit skeptical, I started to follow the Curly Girl method.

And my hair changed immediately. It started to form beautiful curls and ringlets.

After 4+ years of following the Curly Girl method and lots of patience, I’ve learned a lot about curly hair. Styling my hair is easy and takes very little time. And I love my naturally curly hair more than ever!

In April 2020, I released an ebook for curly hair called Embrace Your Curls: A Manual for Curly Girls. You can get a copy here.

I also want to encourage you in your faith and relationships with friends and family.

I am a born again Christian, and God has been so very good to me. I accepted Jesus as my Saviour as a child, and He has made such a difference in my life. I write about spiritual growth and prayer to encourage other young ladies in their walk with Jesus. I’ve also hosted a Titus 2 Tuesdays series so that older women of God can share their wisdom with us.

I’ve also coauthored a book on faith called Seeking Jesus: Stepping into a Life of Bold Surrender, Freedom, and Deep Joy. You can get a paperback or Kindle copy here.

Also, I believe that relationships matter. I’m passionate about encouraging you to love others well…whether that’s your siblings, your friends, or that special someone. And I believe that young ladies should embrace their femininity instead of hiding it. You can explore my articles on family, friends, femininity, and romance.

Here are some of my favourite articles on faith & relationships.
