My Personal Story of Faith

When I was just a little girl, I made the most important decision of my life…to accept Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour. My faith is now a huge part of my life. God has been so incredibly good to me. He has blessed me with many things that I don’t deserve, including a wonderful family, forgiveness for all my sins, and the confident hope of being in Heaven someday with Him.

Have you ever wondered, “How can I go to Heaven when I die?”

The Bible says there is only one way to Heaven.

Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.” (John 14:6)

Good works cannot get you to heaven.

Going to church will not get you to heaven.

The Bible says,

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

How can a person be saved and forgiven for all the wrong things they have done?

1. Admit you are a sinner. All of us are sinners. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

For our sin, we all deserve to be punished in hell.

But Jesus came and died on the cross to take the punishment for our sins.

2. Be willing to turn from sin (repent). Jesus said: “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:5)

Paul said, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” (Acts 3:19)

3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

My faith is such an important part of who I am. I am so thankful for God’s amazing grace in my life, and I pray that you, too, will experience it in yours! Contact me if you have any questions!
